A Danville man has been charged with murder following the shooting death of his father on Saturday. 42-year old Jeremy Bennett of Danville is accused of shooting his father, Ray Bennett. Boone County Sheriff’s deputies said they were initially called to a vehicle accident on U.S. 119 about 3:30 p.m. where they found Jeremy Bennett, whom they said admitted to killing his father. The elder Bennett was then found dead with gunshot wounds at his home.
