A former member of the state Senate passed away this week. Former senator Sue Cline was a Republican who represented Wyoming County and passed away Wednesday. Cline was appointed to the state Senate in January 2016 and served until January 2021. In the June 2020 primary, she lost to Republican David Stover. Former Senate president Mitch Carmichael said Cline embodied the “true essence of a dedicated public servant.”
