A suspected overdose incident that sent three inmates to the hospital is being investigated by the West Virginia Division of Corrections. The incident happened Saturday night at the Western Regional Jail, according to Lawrence Messina with the West Virginia Department of Homeland Security. Messina said all three inmates were taken to an outside hospital as a precaution, and all three inmates returned to the jail that night. A possible controlled substance was found in the possession of one of the inmates.
