More than $50,000 in theft and property damage to power lines has been reported in Fayette County and detectives are asking for the public’s help. Fayette County Sheriff Mike Fridley said the suspects shot down high tension power lines and stole copper on two separate occasions. A $5,000 reweard has been offered by Appalachian Power for information that may help detectives resolve the case.
