Three People Sought in Attempted Theft of Catalytic Converters

West Virginia State Police are investigating a theft case involving catalytic converters. Two men and a woman are wanted as part of the investigation. Troopers said an attempted catalytic converter theft led to the suspects driving off and crashing along Interstate 64 Monday afternoon. The incident started with Nitro Police being called to the Nitro park-n-ride, and later the suspect’s vehicle crashed off I-64 just before the Scott Depot exit. The three suspects got out and ran. Officers are looking for Travis Edmonds of Milton. He has felony warrants and is wanted in Putnam and Cabell counties.
