A bill passed by the West Virginia House of Delegates would allow residents to make liquor at home for personal consumption. The House bill would let anyone over the age of 21 manufacture up to 50 gallons of liquor a year. If there are two people over the age of 21 in the household, the limit is 100 gallons. The liquor would only be for consumption by those in the household or family and sales would be prohibited, according to the legislation. The bill passed the West Virginia House by a 74-22 vote on Monday and now heads to the Senate.
