Tree recycling is being offered at Capitol Market through Monday, Jan. 10. The city said on its Facebook page that you can take your undecorated tree to the north side of the outdoor pavillion and it will be collected by Charleston’s Public Works Department and chipped into mulch and compost. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. Capitol Market is partnering with the city of Charleston to offer the program.
