The entire Coal Grove, Ohio police force has resigned. The chief is undergoing disciplinary action for a prior incident, and was expected to resign, but village council members were surprised by the resignation of the other officers. The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office will now handle calls in Coal Grove.
