A Lincoln County man was found guilty of stabbing his wife to death during an argument in 2017. She called her mother and told her that her husband was beating her. The mother called 911, and when police arrived they found the victim with multiple stab wounds. Thirty-five-year-old Edward Jeffers will remain in the Western Regional Jail until his sentencing.
