Four Metro 911 employees have tested positive for COVID-19 with additional tests pending. The positive tests were reported between Wednesday and Friday, according to a news release from Metro 911. Officials said the 911 system and operations will not be affected, and phones will be answered. Strict protocols have been in place to help prevent exposure to employees and other precautionary measures are being taken. The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department continues to give instructions to businesses throughout our area and has guided Metro 911 through this process.
