The family of mobster Whitey Bulger had their case against the Bureau of Prison tossed out of court. A U.S. District Judge dismissed the case saying the family could not sue the government over their decision to transfer the 89-year old Bulger to Hazelton in 2018. The former leader of Boston’s Winter Hill Gang was beaten and killed within hours of being placed in the general population at the Preston County facility.
