West Virginia’s Judicial Vacancy Advisory Commission is accepting applications to fill the opening left by former Supreme Court Justice Evan Jenkins. Jenkins left the court earlier in the month, saying he was returning to private law practice. The commission will accept applications and letters of recommendation through March 14. The Governor’s Office said it will publish a list of applicants shortly after the deadline. Interviews are set to begin March 28. This marks the first time that applications will be accepted electronically.
