A man has been charged with arson after investigators said he set a fire that destroyed a Charleston building. Windell Abraham Jr. of Charleston is accused of setting fire Jan. 18 to a tent where another man was staying after they were involved in a confrontation in the 1100 block of Quarrier Street, according to a criminal complaint. The fire marshal said the blaze spread from the tent to a neighboring building and destroyed it. Abraham is charged with second-degree arson and is being held in South Central Regional Jail on a $25,000 bond.
