Drivers on I-64 will notice construction ramping up on the new Nitro-St. Albans bridge. New deck support girders are going up on the west side of the new bridge.
Drivers can expect to see some delays in the area as the girder installation continues over the next two weeks, with contractors working from 7 in the morning to around 6:30 in the evening. West Virginia Department of Transportation secretary Jimmy Wriston said the project is on track to be completed some time in 2023.
