Contractors plan to start moving the first steel deck supports for the Donald M. Legg Memorial Bridge on Monday. The plan calls for a second bridge north of the existing bridge which will eventually carry all westbound traffic, while using the existing bridge to carry eastbound traffic. It’s part of an over 240-million-dollar project to widen I-64 between Nitro and St. Albans.
