Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin recently joined mayors, city managers and councilmembers from across the Mountain State for the 2022 West Virginia Municipal League Winter Conference in Charleston. The mayor said 230 municipal governments were represented at the conference to talk about issues impacting their cities. Breakout sessions covered municipal taxation, American Rescue Plan rules and reporting updates, and best practices in municipal government management.
