A patient is accused of stealing an ambulance and leading police on a chase in Boyd County, Kentucky, early Monday morning. A person being treated by another ambulance service is accused of taking off in a Boyd County EMS ambulance at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. EMS officials said members of the Ashland Police Department were able to stop the vehicle on U.S. 23 in Russell where the person was taken into custody. The ambulance did not suffer any damage and there were no injuries.
