A 19-year-old was arrested Wednesday morning in Kanawha County after police said he led them on a vehicle pursuit while under the influence that ended in a crash.
Richard Harrison is charged with fleeing and driving under the influence after a chase that started near Center Street between Nitro and St. Albans about 2:30 a.m., according to the Nitro Police Department.Harrison was taken into custody after crashing near Washington Street and Kanawha Terrace. Police said they initially attempted to stop Harrison for an equipment violation on his vehicle.
