Justice says he can’t legallly suspend gas tax

House and Senate Democrats are asking Governor Justice to press pause on the state’s gasoline tax. They want Justice to suspend the nearly thirty-six-cents-per-gallon as a gas tax holiday for a month to give drivers a break at the pump. The governor says he can’t legally suspend the tax, and it would mean the state’s road fund would take a hit of around thirty-five-million-dollars.
