The $32 million renovation of the Kanawha County Public Library is nearly finished. The 20,000 square foot addition includes a new café, a kids floor, a tool lending service and a technology lab with equipment like sewing machines, Cricuts and 3D printers. You just have to have a library card to access all the new features at the library. The library is set to reopen on May 2, then they will hold a grand opening ceremony on May 9. An express library is still located at the Charleston Town Center on the second floor.
