New Animal Shelter is in the Works in Boone County

Boone County is getting a new animal shelter. Boone County Animal Rescue Coalition or B.A.R.C. has been advocating for new space because the current animal shelter is small and cramped, with space for only about ten or twelve dogs. The new shelter will go up off of Route 119 and will be able to hold 100 dogs or so, and cats too. It will be a place for adopting families to meet their pets and is expected to open this fall. B.A.R.C. can always use more volunteers and donations, and you can do that at www.booneanimalwv.com
