Popular Beer Festival Returns to Charleston

Charleston’s largest beer festival is returning to its normal location in 2022. Foam at the Dome is scheduled for April 30 from 3 to 7 p.m. in front of the State Capitol on Kanawha Boulevard East. The organizer, Charleston Main Streets, said it anticipates growth with the return to a spring date and its expanded partnership with Old Colony Realtors. In its first five years, the event raised more than $152,000 for economic development in the region. It was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic and was held at half capacity and at an alternate location in 2021. Organizers said more than 2,500 people are expected to attend the festival.
