Charleston police are asking for the public’s help in an investigation after two go-karts were stolen from Safety City. The site is located off of Seventh Avenue behind the North Charleston Recreation Center ballfields. It was created in 1985 by the Charleston Police Department to teach children about traffic safety. Police said anyone with information about the go-kart theft is asked to call the department’s Criminal Investigation Division at 304-348-6480.
