Yeager Airport will be hosting a pop-up Transportation Security Administration PreCheck enrollment event next week. The program allows eligible passengers to be part of an expedited screening process at airports where they can leave their shoes, light outerwear and belt on, keep their laptop in its case and their 3-1-1 compliant liquids and gels bag in a carry-on during the screening process. An enrollment center will be set up at the ticket lobby at the airport from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. March 7-11. A TSA PreCheck approval is good for five years. Those interested can make an appointment online. An $85 application fee is required when you make your appointment and fingerprints are required to be taken during the in-person portion of the enrollment.
