A hit and run accident in Cabell County led to a police chase across several counties early Monday morning. Officers in Cabell County said a driver hit another car and left the scene and the driver who was hit started to follow the car that hit them. Milton Police and Hurricane Police joined the pursuit, which continued on I-64 and ended with a crash near the Lee Street exit of I-64 in Kanawha County.
Charleston Police Department and Kanawha County Sheriff’s Deputies met the driver as they tried to run off after the crash. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
