The 2022 Charleston Sternwheel Regatta will take place June 30 – July 4 and will feature a few brand-new events. Organizers have been working to put together an event that will not only bring fun but will also bring a significant economic impact. They anticipate thousands of event attendees and millions of dollars in tourism spending in Charleston. Musical performers include Fastball and The Nixons, Martina McBride, Landau Eugene Murphy, Rick Springfield, and the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra. Major events taking place throughout the event include the Wheelwash Craft Beer Festival, Firecracker 5K, Weiner Dog Races, and the Sternwheel Boat Races.
