Clay County Man Faces Charges Over Threats Made to CPS Workers

Court records said a Clay County man has been charged after he allegedly said Child Protective Services workers should be taken out in the street and shot in the head and punched in the face. James McCune Jr. of Clay was charged in Clay County Magistrate Court. The complaint said a state probation officer was drug screening McCune on March 29 when he made the statement about shooting CPS workers. McCune is currently being held at Central Regional Jail on a $50,000 bond.
