Supply chain issues continue to impact West Virginia and President Joe Biden believes his administration’s Trucking Action Plan will help. The goal is to improve access to trucking jobs and fair compensation as it helps ease supply chain issues. The President said this week there are now 35,000 more trucking jobs than there were before the pandemic, and the White House is working to streamline the process to get commercial drivers licenses and increase the number of registered apprenticeship programs. It also encouraged partnerships connecting veterans to trucking careers.
