A colorful mural that shows clasping hands with bright flowers is now brightening a section of Kanawha City in Charleston. The mural faces the parking on the building that houses Baskin-Robbins in the 4100 block of MacCorkle Avenue. Jeff Pierson, public art director for the city of Charleston, said the project was a collaboration between the city of Charleston’s Office of Public Art and the University of Charleston. The UC physician assistant program worked on the mural as a class of 2024 project.
