Cold Case Tips Wanted in Wayne County Murder Investigation

Investigators are again asking for the public’s help in a murder investigation as the four-year anniversary of an arson fire that killed two men in Wayne County nears. The bodies of William and Robert Copley were found in the burned remains of their home at 311 Camp Creek Road in Crum on May 31, 2018, according to the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office. An investigation into the fire determined the two men were victims of a double homicide. A reward of up to $10,000 is available for anyone who comes forward with information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the incident.
