The Charleston Convention and Visitors Center ballroom hosted a Dancing with the Stars event for charity on Friday night. Local celebrities helped raise more than $80,000 for the United Way of Central West Virginia, according to event organizers.
Eyewitness News was represented by chief meteorologist Doug Harlow who paired with Samantha Carney, the director of operations at Shawnee Sports Complex. Overall, six couples got involved to help United Way.
