Driver Faces Charges After Crashing Into Scott Depot Dairy Queen

West Virginia State Police said a man faces charges after he intentionally crashed a vehicle into the Dairy Queen in Scott Depot and then physically assaulted staff at the hospital. Casey Oxley faces several charges following a wreck Saturday evening where a car slammed into the front of the restaurant. State Police said the suspect didn’t say why he drove into the Dairy Queen, but he repeatedly said he did it intentionally. Five employees were inside at the time of the crash. The dining room was closed for remodeling. The driver was taken to Charleston Area Medical Center Teays Valley Hospital. At the hospital, Oxley physically assaulted hospital staff, and police had to physically restrain him, according to State Police.
