A man has been charged in Cabell County after he was accused of embezzling more than $20,000 from a Huntington restaurant. 51-year old George M. West is charged with embezzlement in connection with money that was taken from G.D. Ritzy’s in the 1300 block of Hal Greer Boulevard. The complaint said Jason Webb, the owner of the restaurant, reported that West, who was an employee, was responsible for making cash deposits and he would embezzle large amounts of money from the cash sales before making any cash deposits. Huntington police are investigating the case.
