A series of public discussions will be held throughout Kanawha County for leaders to gauge the public’s interest in possibly allowing ATV use on some public roads. The Kanawha County Commission said it has been considering adventure travel as a way to drive economic development throughout the county, including trail systems and public road utilization for off-roading recreation. That would mean removing or adjusting the ATV ordinance to allow them on some public roads. The first public comment meeting will be at Belle Town Hall Wednesday, May 11 from 5:30 to 7 pm.
