Gov. Jim Justice said a proposed project to construct a new interchange off Interstate 79 near the Harmony Grove area near Morgantown has the state of West Virginia’s full support. The interchange would serve the new Morgantown Industrial Park and other businesses and homes in the Harmony Grove area of Monongalia County, just south of Westover. A feasability study for new interchange off of I-79 is underway now. Justice said the upgrades would add an element of safety for drivers who use the high-traffic corridor.
