At least 4 inches of rain has come down in many areas of the region…leading to flooding in many cases. Flood warnings and watches remained in effect for different areas across the Tri-State. As all of the rain flows into rivers, they are going to be on the rise this weekend, particularly the Ohio River, along with several others in the region. On Two Mile Road, just north of Charleston, Two Mile Creek went over its banks for a time. One homeowner says the water had risen all the way to his paper box but had since receded. High water was reported on Sissonville Drive, with many people turning around and avoiding driving through the water. On Route 119, some water covered parts of the road. That has since gone down, too. In Spencer…officials confirm…an emergency facility had to be evacuated…the ambulances were put up onto higher ground.
