Thousands were in Nicholas County Wednesday to honor the life of Deputy Thomas Baker, who was shot and killed in the line of duty on Friday night when responding to a domestic disturbance. Law enforcement from all over the country turned out to pay their respects to the fallen officer, who was laid to rest at Walker Cemetery.
