Several hundred runners were part of the 23rd Annual Hatfield-McCoy Marathon over the weekend that kicked off in Mingo County. Organizers said it’s the longest-running marathon in the state, and it took place in Pike County, Kentucky too. The runners participated in the Jeannie Rivard Memorial 5K, Blackberry Mountain Half Marathon, River Road Half Marathon, and the main event, the Hatfield-McCoy Marathon.
