Huntington Mayor Steve Williams made it okay for city building permit fees to be waved for any repairs associated with damage from flooding that occurred May 6. Huntington residents are still required to obtain a building permit at City Hall because it helps ensure the repairs are done properly and by licensed contractors, but there is no fee.
