Investigators are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in a Charleston house fire earlier this month. A person on a bicycle with no seat and a noticeable backpack was spotted leaving the scene of a fire along Park Drive on June 1, according to the Charleston Fire Department. Investigators said the person could be seen leaving the area as the fire started. The fire was reported about 4:30 a.m. Firefighters said a person lived in the home at the time of the blaze, but no injuries were reported. A $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction is being offered. Anyone with more information is asked to call 304-348-8058.
