Boone County is forming a swift water rescue team. The equipment and the 20-member team will be split in two groups, with one on the Danville/Madison side and one on the Big Coal River side. Boone County Emergency Management secured 80-thousand-dollars’ worth of gear with funding from the American Rescue Plan.
