Fayette County Men Face Charges Following Traffic Stop

Two Fayette County men are facing felony charges after deputies found illegal drugs inside of a vehicle Friday following a traffic stop. Michael Forren and Franklin Lambert, both of Oak Hill are charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and suboxone and conspiracy, according to a social media post from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office. The post said a traffic violation led deputies to stop a vehicle near Mount Hope, and deputies said methamphetamine fell out of the glove box when the driver opened it to get the vehicle’s registration card. A search revealed suboxone strips, drug paraphernalia, cash and multiple state assistance cards that did not belong to the driver or passenger. The duo has been transported to Southern Regional Jail to await court proceedings.
