Interior designer Carleton Varney, who helped The Greenbrier resort maintain its iconic look for more than six decades, has died. Varney’s touches can be found throughout the resort, including newer projects, like the Greenbrier Chapel and the Casino Club at The Greenbrier. He was 85.
