Senator Joe Manchin says he supports the Inflation Reduction Act, which includes investments in energy technologies and efforts to lower health care costs. Manchin has been going back and forth on the measure for week, but he says he is now comfortable with a plan to let Medicare negotiate the prices of prescription drug, to bring costs down. He says the fossil fuel industry will remain a critical part of energy policy, alon gwith solar and wind power.
