A short film created entirely by West Virginia artists will premiere next month in Clarksburg. “Lilac Gulch: An Appalachian Fairy Tale” was filmed in Harrison County and tells the story of a 12-year-old boy who runs away with a reimagined childhood friend. The two end up searching the Appalachian countryside for a place where parents never die. The premiere for the film will be at The Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center in Clarksburg on Friday, Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. and will be part of First Fridays in Downtown Clarksburg.
