The West Virginia Senate passed a resolution to cut personal property tax, but didn’t even take up Governor Justice’s proposal to cut state income tax by ten-percent. Senators say they intend to reduce the personal property tax and business inventory tax if voters in November approve a constitutional amendment that would allow them to do so. The Republican controlled House pas the income tax cut earlier this week without debate.
