Kanawha County’s Clearon Corp. is being purchased by the leading producer of specialty chemicals for water-intensive industries. Chemical supplier, Solenis announces it has made an agreement to acquire Clearon. No information was provided about whether any jobs would be affected. Officials say…the move was made to expand product development for residential and commercial pools and spas. Delaware-based Solenis has nearly 50 manufacturing facilities worldwide.
