Police say a shooting on the west side may have been accidental. Twenty-four-year-old Shyqwon Carter was shot in the leg. He’s in stable condition. Mary C. Snow West Side Elementary was placed on a brief lockdown, while investigators tried to determine what happened. Witnesses are not cooperating with police.
