The Pinch Volunteer Fire Department has had another member added to its team. K9 Willow is a golden retriever and new member of the search and rescue team. She’s training to be able to help locally and across the state searching for lost people and she’ll work as an air-scent dog. That means she’ll keep her nose in the air and ignore ground scents, locating people by catching their scent in the wind. There’s more on K9 Willow on the Pinchfire Facebook page.
