Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded August 14 to the area of 206 West Main Street in St. Albans about a man who had been beaten with a baseball bat. Witnesses said three men attacked the victim, Craig Scott, who has remained in critical condition and hospitalized since the attack. Sgt. Ana Pile said Mark Paul and Hunter Paul have been charged with malicious wounding and were arrested. The third male has been charged in the attack as well, but as a juvenile. Tips are still welcome as the investigation continues.
